Application of hardware fixes for the following problems exhibited by AmigaOne XE mainboards:
IDE DMA lockups
When IDE DMA is activated, the system can lockup when there is activity on the Ethernet port.
(Manufacturer's suggested solution is the use of a PCI-based IDE controller)
USB hot-plug detection
Unplugging devices connected directory to the mainboard's USB ports is not recognized by the system.
(Manufacturer's suggested solution is the use of an external USB hub)

I purchased my AmigaOne mainboard from Forefront, is there any special offer?
Yes, we will apply the hardware fix to your board for FREE! You only have to pay the return shipping charges. Also, we will honor any remaining manufacturer's warranty even after we apply the fix (see below). To receive your discount, after you place this order, please email us with this order number and you original AmigaOne order number. We will then apply your discount to the order.
What if you damage my board while attempting to apply the fix?
In the unlikely event we damage your AmigaOne mainboard beyond repair while we are applying the hardware fix, Forefront will replace the mainboard or reimburse the retail cost, at our discretion.
Will this effect my remaining manufacturer's warranty?
Applying this fix voids the original manufacturer's warranty. However, if you originally purchased your AmigaOne mainboard from Forefront, we will honor the remaining duration of the manufacturer's warranty after Forefront applies the hardware fix. The manufacturer's original warranty in the U.S. is 1 year, from the date of shipment.
What if this doesn't fix my DMA or USB problems?
Forefront applies the hardware fix as described by the manufacturer. We cannot make a guarantee as to the completeness of this fix.
How long will it take for me to get my AmigaOne back?
We do not guarantee a turn-around time, but the expected time frame is approximately 2 weeks from the date the board is received.
How do I send you my AmigaOne to have this hardware fix applied?
Please send only the mainboard (with CPU and cooler attached). Remove any memory. Do not send the complete system. Be sure to pack the board very well for shipment, taking care to support the CPU cooler with packing material. Ship your mainboard, insured and tracked, to:
